Trinity Lutheran Church: Christ Be Our Light

The year 2018 marked the 175th year of Trinity Lutheran Church living in Christ's light, and we celebrated with the following events:

Members of Trinity walked in Cedarburg's 4th of July parade and handed out crosses to the crowd.

On July 28 and 29, Trinity was one of the showcased buildings of the Cedarburg Architectural Treasures tour. Trinity members guided visitors through the church, told stories about our history and our church's unique features, and served ice cream to our guests.

A cross commemorating our 175th anniversary was presented at a worship service by Kathy Kallenbach, Sharon Oberheu and Carol Anderson, members of the Anniversary Committee.

Our anniversary celebration was held on Reformation Sunday, Oct. 28. The Rev. Paul D. Erickson, bishop of the Greater Milwaukee Synod, was the guest preacher, and a dinner followed the service, providing a wonderful opportunity for everyone to share old memories and make some new ones.
