Trinity Lutheran Church Where Jesus' Voice is Heard, Proclaimed and Lived
N60 W6047 Columbia Road
Cedarburg, WI 53012
Trinity provides opportunities to learn more about the Christian faith.
Open Forum Sunday mornings after the 9am outdoor worship service in the lower parking lot, we will meet on the grass on the side of the education wing. We'll still be masked unless we are really far apart. Bear in mind that we will only meet when we have an outdoor worship service.
We'll meet for about half an hour. The discussion will be open for you to share whatever is on your mind or Pastor Brent will present a topic for discussion.
Right now the five local Lutheran churches -- Faith, Advent, Immanuel, St. John, and Trinity -- are working toward a cooperative online learning forum for your son and/or daughter. Pastor Brent is posting a weekly children's message from the Whirl Story Bible:
Sunday, Oct. 4 -- "Serving People, Serving Jesus," Matthew 25:31-46
Sunday, Oct. 11 -- "Jesus Commands an Unclean Spirit," Mark 1:21-28
Sunday, Oct. 18 -- "Healing at Simon’s House," Mark 1:29-39
Circle Groups There are two women's Bible studies that meet once
a month (sometimes virtually). All women of the
church are welcome to join or attend any of the
circles -- many new friendships are formed, and it's a great
way to get to know other women from our congregation.
Martha Circle meets the second Saturday of the month at 8am at the Subway at 5 Corners. Contact Jeanne Mueller for more information.
Ruth Circle meets the
second Tuesday of the month at 9:30am September through May for a light breakfast and faith building. All are welcomed as friends. Contact Julie Ische if you wish, or just drop by.
Confirmation classes for 6th- through 8th-graders from five different churches in the Cedarburg and Grafton areas (Immanuel, Faith, Advent, St. John and Trinity) are held Wednesdays from 5-6pm. This year we will be using "Re-Form" as
our basis for education. We are also excited about welcoming Pastor Alexis from
Advent. She will be part of the teaching team. As of now we will meet outside in
person until the weather ceases to cooperate. When the weather gets too cold or we
have a thunderstorm, we will have two options: 1. We have set up the youth room for
distancing for meeting in person. 2. We also have the capability of Zoom classes.
Men's Breakfast & Bible Study We'll meet every 3rd Saturday at 7:30am for a Zoom Bible Study. The next Bible study will be Oct. 17. We’ll discuss Luke 12:13-21, "The Story of the Greedy Farmer." Let Pastor Brent know if you would like to be part of this discussion. If so, he can add you to the Zoom meeting.
