Adult Forum
All adults are welcome to any of the classes that meet Sundays at 10:30am from September through May in the Gathering Area by the church library. We pack in some good snacks from Coffee Hour and then talk about various topics. Everyone is welcome to be a part of this discussion.

In December we will have the following discussions:

  • Dec. 2 -- we will look at the article "A Kingdom Within," pp. 26-27 in the November issue of Living Lutheran magazine
  • Dec. 9 -- Chapters 1 and 2 in the book Jesus and Nonviolence: A Third Way by Walter Wink
  • Dec. 16 -- Chapters 3 and 4 in Jesus and Nonviolence
  • Dec. 23 -- Chapters 5 and 6 in Jesus and Nonviolence
  • Dec. 30 -- No class

If you have any questions or ideas for classes, please contact Pastor Brent at 262-377-0610 or pastorbrenttlc@gmail.com.

Children's Education
We had such fun at our last potluck that we will continue this worship and education time. Our next Family Potluck for families with young children (through elementary age) will be Sunday, Jan. 13 from 4-5:30pm. We'll provide a main dish, and the families can provide a side dish/dessert. For more information, please contact Pastor Brent at 262-377-0610 or pastorbrenttlc@gmail.com.

Circle Groups
There are two women's Bible studies that meet once a month. All women of the church are welcome to join or attend any of the circles -- many new friendships are formed, and it's a great way to get to know other women from our congregation.

Martha Circle meets the second Saturday of the month at 8am at the Subway at 5 Corners. Contact Jeanne Mueller for more information.

Ruth Circle meets the second Tuesday of the month at 9:30am September through May for a light breakfast and faith building in the dining hall at church. (Note: In December, Ruth Circle will be having a luncheon Dec. 11 at 11am at Flipside in Grafton.) All are welcomed as friends. Contact Julie Ische if you wish, or just drop by.

Confirmation Class
Confirmation classes for 6th- through 8th-graders from five different churches in the Cedarburg, Grafton and Brown Deer areas (Immanuel, Faith, Advent, St. John and Memorial -- this year we don't have any students from Trinity) are held in Trinity's youth room Wednesdays from 5-6pm.

During the month of December we will be focusing our attention on three different topics. On Dec. 5 we'll finish talking about exploring Article 3 of the Apostles' Creed. Then, we'll shift gears a bit and talk about the stewardship of money on Dec. 12 and world religions on Dec. 19.

Men's Breakfast & Bible Study
All men are invited for good food, great conversation and Bible study in the dining hall the third Thursday of the month at 8am, and the following Saturday at 7:30am, September through May. Each month we learn something new from various parts of scripture. There's fellowship and eating for the first 30 minutes, followed by a study. Breakfast is provided by the members on a rotating basis. There's no need to sign up in advance.

Our next breakfast and Bible Study will be on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7:30am and Thursday, Dec. 20 at 8am. We will be discussing "The Parable of the Barren Tree" from Luke 13:6-9.

Pre-Communion Instruction
A pre-Communion class is taught by Pastor Brent in the fall to prepare 5th-graders to receive the Lord's Supper.
