Trinity provides opportunities for people of all ages
to learn more about the Christian faith.
All adults are welcome to any of the classes that meet Sundays at 10:30am from September through May in the Gathering Area by the church library. We pack in some good snacks from Coffee Hour and then talk about various topics. Everyone is welcome to be a part of this discussion.
We'll begin meeting again on Sept. 8. Here's what we'll be talking about in the next few months:
- Sept. 8 -- Living Lutheran magazine June 2019 article "Worship 101" (Pastor Brent has copies of the magazine, or you can read the article here)
- Sept. 15 -- "The Story of God: Who is God" -- Morgan Freeman DVD series
- Sept. 22 -- "The Story of God: Why Does Evil Exist"
- Sept. 29 -- "The Story of God: The Power of Miracles"
- Oct. 6 -- "The Story of God: Beyond Death"
- Oct. 13 -- "The Story of God: The Chosen One"
- Oct. 20 -- "The Story of God: Heaven and Hell"
- Oct. 27 (Reformation Sunday) -- "The Story of God: Proof of God"
- November/December - Book review and discussion of Jesus for the Non-Religious by John Shelby Spong
If you have any questions or ideas for classes, please contact Pastor Brent at 262-377-0610 or
We'll resume our Family Potlucks in September. Families with kids who are between the ages of 4 and 11 (5th grade) are welcome to join us at Trinity for a brief worship, dinner and education time. We hold these potlucks roughly once a month (on the third Sunday of the month from September through April, except for December), and the next one will be Sunday, Oct. 20 from 4-5:30pm in the Parish Hall. Dinner is provided by the members of Trinity, and the parents who come can provide a side dish, salad or dessert. If you're interested in attending or helping out, please contact Pastor Brent at 262-377-0610 or
email@example.com so he has an idea of how much food to get.
There are two women's Bible studies that meet once
a month. All women of the
church are welcome to join or attend any of the
circles -- many new friendships are formed, and it's a great
way to get to know other women from our congregation.
Martha Circle meets the second Saturday of the month at 8am at the Subway at 5 Corners. Contact Jeanne Mueller for more information.
Ruth Circle meets the
second Tuesday of the month at 9:30am September through May for a light breakfast and faith building in the dining hall at church. All are welcomed as friends. Contact Julie Ische if you wish, or just drop by.
Confirmation classes for 6th- through 8th-graders from five different churches in the Cedarburg and Grafton areas (Immanuel, Faith, Advent, St. John and Trinity) are held in Trinity's youth room Wednesdays from 5-6pm.
We will start up in September with a Parent Orientation on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 5pm. Classes will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 5pm in the Trinity youth room. This year's lessons will focus on Scripture, our first lesson being an overview of the Bible titled "Getting Started with the Bible." See you all there!

Men's Breakfast & Bible Study
All men are invited for good food, great conversation and Bible study in
the dining hall the third Thursday of the month at 8am, and (generally) the
following Saturday at 7:30am, September through May. Each month we learn something new from various parts of scripture. There's fellowship and eating for the first 30 minutes, followed by a study. Breakfast is provided by the members on a rotating basis. There's no need to sign up in advance.
Our first breakfast meetings of the fall will be Thursday, Sept. 19 at 8am and Saturday the 21st at 7:30am.
This is the year of Matthew, so we'll take a closer look at the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew Chps. 5-7) throughout the year. The scripture reading for the 19th and 21st will be Matthew 5:1-11.
