Youth Events -- 2010
Here are some of the events Trinity's youth were involved with in 2010.
In October, we went to Pleasant View Llama and Pumpkin Farm in Adell for a day of fun, including a train ride, a hay ride and a corn maze.
In August, the middle- and high-schoolers held a car wash at Cedarburg's Piggly Wiggly to raise funds to go toward Youth Quake 2011 and New Orleans 2012.
Trip to the Fire Station
In August, preschool through elementary youth visited the Cedarburg fire station to take a tour and help them wash a fire truck. They also presented the fire station crew with an appreciation gift of their service in the community.
In May, high-schoolers went to Bay Shore Lutheran in Whitefish Bay for a hip-hop service with Agape. It was wonderful to see all the youth from different churches come together to experience the Word of the Lord in a whole different way.
In April, we had Nerd Night for the middle-school youth. The youth had a lot of fun, with snacks, beverage, prizes, and events such as a search for a prize hidden in a book, a calculation contest, a nerd eating contest and Twister.
Easter Egg Hunt
In April, kids searched for Easter eggs, did crafts, learned about the holiday, and dyed 72 eggs that were donated to Lasata, Cedar Springs, Heritage Nursing Home and the Harbor Club.
